Venue:The conference will take place in the Ringberg Castle close to Lake Tegernsee in Southern Germany. Accommodation:Up to 45 participants can be accommodated in the castle. 9 of the rooms in the castle are actually double rooms. IF YOU CAN SHARE WITH ONE OF YOUR COLLEAGUES ARE DOUBLE ROOM, PLEASE LET US KNOW, this will increase the chances that you can be accommodated in the castle. In addition, a block reservation has been made at the Hotel Zur Post in nearby Kreuth. Expect costs of about 120 Euro per full day, which includes all meals, the accomodation and the conference charge. 60% of the costs in the castle are supported by the Ernst-Rudolf-Schloessmann Foundation for Max-Planck-Society participants. Travel:If you travel by train, take the train to station "Lake Tegernsee". From there, take a taxi (you likely arrive there in groups) to either the castle or Hotel zur Post. If you travel by plane, instead of continuing from Munich airport with the train, we can organize mini-busses from the airport to the castle/hotel. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS OPTION, THEN PLEASE SEND YOUR ARRIVAL TIME AND WE TRY TO ORGANIZE THE BUSSES ACCORDINGLY (about 140Euro per mini-bus for 8 people). Plan on arriving on Sunday between 4 and 10pm. There will be a reception in the castle at 6pm. On Wednesday all rooms need to be vacated by 9am and the workshop will end after lunch on Wednesday.
