 ope\n\nThe era of new radio telescopes has just arrived and it is now time
  to have a first glimpse on the potential of upcomming faciclities like th
 e Square Kilometre Array. In this light\, the Max-Planck Scociety has inve
 sted in the MPIFR-MT SKA prototype telescope that will be built\, at the S
 KA site\, in South Africa and will operate mid 2018. \n\nInterested user o
 f the prototype telescope are invited to this 1-day workshop to discuss th
 e scientific and technical potential with the aim to compile a comprehensi
 ve observing programme for the upcomming years.\n\nTechnical details of th
 e Prototype Telescope: effective diameter 15 m\; receiver: S-Band\, Ku-Ban
