Payment

The registration fee is 180 EUR. It includes the shuttle bus to and back to the conference site (from Heidelberg city center, coffee breaks and lunches, and the conference dinner).

How to reach the venue

There will be a shuttle bus available for conference participants on Wednesday evening, Thursday morning, Thursday evening, Friday morning, and Friday evening. The shuttle runs from/to near the Peterskirche bus stop (the exact address is: Klingenteichstr. 4) in Heidelberg's Altstadt and is conveniently located relative to the conference dinner venue and Christmas markets.

The schedule is:

Wednesday 18:00: HdA to Peterskirche
Thursday 08:30: Peterskirche to HdA
Thursday 18:00: HdA to Peterskirche
Friday 08:30: Peterskirche to HdA
Friday 14:30: HdA to Peterskirche
Note that there is no shuttle prior to the conference on Wednesday.

The HdA can also be reached by public transport: The buses 39 (from Bismarckplatz to Sternwarte) and 30 (from Peterskirche to MPIA) run regularly to the MPIA and back to town. Tickets can be purchased onboard with card payment, or via the RNV app (https://www.rnv-online.de/tickets/ticket-kaufen/digital/handy-ticket/).

• Heidelberg Christmas Market: On Wednesday evening we will go to the Christmas Market in Heidelberg Altstadt (for further info on the Christmas Market, see https://www.heidelberg-marketing.de/en/event/heidelberg-christmas-market)
• Conference dinner: On Thursday evening, at 7 pm, we will go to a restaurant in Heidelberg Altstadt: the Essighaus (Plöck 97, 69117 Heidelberg). This is included in the registration fee.
