DESCRIPTION:RATIONALE\n\nThe BONN neutron star workshops aim to bring toge
 ther observers and theoretisians to exchange and discuss new ideas at the
  forefront of neutron star research.\n\nThe theme of the XVII workshop is:
  "Advancing pulsar science: opportunities\, challenges & mysteries"\, whi
 ch will cover:\n\n\n	Latest results from pulsar timing arrays\n	Gravitatio
 nal wave searches \n	Alternative sources of metric perturbations in the l
 ong-wavelength regime \n	Beyond radio: results from NICER\, the IXPE miss
 ion\, Fermi LAT & TeV pulsars\n	Advantages of using multi-band pulsar obse
 rvations\n	New members of the neutron star population\n\n\nSTRUCTURE OF TH
 E MEETING\n\nEach presentation has a duration of 15 minutes (including Q&A
 ).  At the end of the meeting\, there will be a wrap-up session\, in whic
 h the main topics and open questions will be discussed. Lunches and coffe
 e breaks are sponsored by the MPIfR and there will be an optional confere
 nce dinner at your own expense. There is no registration fee.\n\nSCIENTIF

 cipants will be considered. This is to avoid contributions being accepted 
 but no longer having spots to register participants.\n	If all 60 seats are

 	Registration deadline: 2 May\, 2024 or until all 60 seats are filled.\n\
 n\nTRANSPORT TO MPIFR/AIfA - BONN\nFrom Bonn/Cologne Airport\n\n\n	Take ai
 rport bus SB60 to Bonn Central Station (Hbf). Buses leave every ~30min\, c
 ost ~9 EUR.\n	 - For more detailed information on the bus' schedule\, ta
 ke a look at the timetable available here.\n	Take a taxi (~50-70 EUR)\n\n
 \nFrom Bonn central station (3 km): (busses leave every 10 min.)\n\n\n	Bus
