DESCRIPTION:Speakers: DEBBRECHT\, Lena ()\nNRAO 150 is a prominent radio t
o millimetre emitting quasar at redshift $z=1.52$. \nThis source exhibits
a particularly intriguing structure\, as the jet is seen at an extremely s
mall angle to the line of sight. \nPrevious Very Long Baseline Interferome
try (VLBI) observations have revealed a fast counter-clockwise rotation of
its innermost jet region. \nOwing to the high angular resolution provided
by VLBI\, we can probe relativistic jets at such small scales\, in the vi
cinity of the central engine. \nIn this work\, we aim to study the morphol
ogy and kinematic behaviour of the jet of NRAO 150.\nThe source was observ
ed by the Global Millimeter VLBI Array (GMVA) at 86 GHz\, and by the Europ
ean VLBI Network (EVN) at 43 GHz and 22 GHz. The data was imaged in total
intensity and geometric model fitting was applied\, in order to perform a
comprehensive analysis of the jet structure. \nWe report a counter-clockwi
se jet rotation for one emission feature\, which is consistent with previo
us VLBI studies. \nWe also present a new kinematic model for this source a
nd fit a helical model to the component's trajectory. The fit supports the
assumption of a counter-clockwise jet rotation. \nGeometric projection ef
fects also need to be taken into account\, as the source points at a small
angle to our line of sight. \nIn this talk we will examine and discuss po
ssible scenarios for these projection effects and interpret how they relat
e to the observed jet features.\n\nhttps://events.mpifr-bonn.mpg.de/indico
