The EVN Symposium 2024 will issue conference proceedings to keep memory in written form of the contributions and discussion held during the meeting.  The format will be similar to the one used in earlier conferences (see e.g., the proceedings for the EVN Symposium 2002 or the Fermi Meets Jansky meeting in 2010).

The editors of the volume will be Eduardo Ros, Sergio Dzib, Izabela Rottmann, and J. Anton Zensus.

The LaTeX template is available at this file:
evn2024.tgz (Alternative copy at the MPIfR cloud at evn2024.tgz)

This is a gzipped tar archive containing following files:

  • Input files
    • ./evn2024/evn2024.cls - Style file to be used
    • ./evn2024/sample.tex - Example file, to be modified and renamed with NName.tex (e.g., KJansky.tex)
    • ./evn2024/sample_fig1.ps - Example figure 1 used in sample.tex, figures in your submission should be named as NName_Fig1.ps (or eps or pdf or the format you prefer)
    • ./evn2024/sample_fig2.ps - Example figure 2
  • Output files, generated by compiling sample.tex in a classical linux environment:
    • ./evn2024/sample.ps - Generated from sample.dvi with dvips
    • ./evn2024/sample.dvi - Generated from sample.tex with latex
    • ./evn2024/sample.pdf - Generated from sample.ps with ps2pdf14
    • ./evn2024/sample.log - Log file from latex on sample.tex

Your proceedings file(s) should be submitted in a single archive file as NName.tgz to the MPIfR ftp input directory under this link (if the ftp protocol is not available for you, please use the MPIfR cloud server under this link).

We will publish the proceedings in the ADS and online under this webpage, and upon availability of resources, as a hardcopy to be distributed.  Our committment is to have the proceedings ready by December 10th, so that they can be linked and referred within this year 2024.

The deadline for submission of proceedings to the editors is October 31st, 2024.  If you find any problems in the compilation or in the submission please contact evn2024@mpifr.de as soon as possible, to get these fixed for all contributors.

Thanks for your cooperation.
