LOCATION:
The conference will be held at the CJD Bonn Castell, a conference centre at Graurheindorfer Str. 149, 53117 Bonn, conveniently located near the city centre and the Rhine promenade (public transportation stop is “Innenministerium").
ACCOMMODATION:
You are responsible for making your own accommodation arrangements.
The conference centre has its own hotel rooms, with 59 single and 33 double rooms (86€ and 128€ per night respectively, including breakfast buffet), all with shower, WC and TV. We encourage you to use this option. Single rooms are already fully booked.
To reserve your accomodation please email your booking request to reservierung@cjd.de and quote the booking code "Max-Planck-Institut".
You are also welcom to arrange any other accomodation.
ARRIVAL:
Travelling by train from the Bonn main station
Take the S-Bahn line 61, direction Auerberg, to the Innenministerium stop.
From the stop, go 50 meters back (towards the city center), and you will see the CJD Conference- and Guesthouse Bonn Castell on the right side.
From the ICE railway station Siegburg-Bonn
Take S-Bahn line 66, direction Bad Honnef Stadtbahn, to Stadthaus stop.
Then take S-Bahn 61, direction Auerberg, to the Innenministerium stop.
From the stop, go 50 meters back (towards the city center), and you will see the CJD Conference- and Guesthouse Bonn Castell on the right side.
From Cologne/Bonn Airport
Take Airport bus SB 60, direction Bonn Hauptbahnhof, to the Innenministerium stop.
From the stop, go 50 meters forward (towards the city center), and you will see the CJD Conference- and Guesthouse Bonn Castell on the right side.
Tickets
The most convenient way to purchase a ticket is to use the DB Navigator app.
If you buy a Deutschland-Ticket, do not forget to cancel its subscription by the 10th of each month for it to take effect at the end of the same calendar month.

From Autobahn 565, take exit Bonn-Auerberg, direction Innenstadt.
After approximately 500 meters (on the right), you will arrive at the CJD Conference- and Guesthouse Bonn Castell.
There are a few parking spaces available, but reservations are not possible.
