Very-Long-Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) is a continually developing technique used in radio astronomy that provides extraordinary resolution. Both Bonn (MPI für Radioastronomie) and Dwingeloo (ASTRON and JIV-ERIC) have a rich history of VLBI research, and have been organising regular local meetings since the last century, alternating with the EVN Symposium.

The upcoming 2023 meeting in Bonn will provide an opportunity for researchers and interested individuals from both institutes to come together and share their latest findings and developments in the field of VLBI. The conference aims to encourage collaboration and the exchange of ideas between the partner institutes in Dwingeloo and Bonn.

During the meeting, we will discuss scientific projects and advancements in developing new techniques and methods in VLBI. Both institutes will deliver presentations and offer an opportunity for researchers to showcase their work and engage in discussions with their peers.

The main building of the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy in Bonn, Germany, will host the meeting. We extend an invitation to all interested individuals from the partner institutes in Dwingeloo and Bonn to attend this interesting event.
