DESCRIPTION:Dr. Leo Meyer\, alumnus of the IMPRS\, will share his experien
 ce with moving from academia to industry. Leo has been exceptionally succe
 ssful in both career paths. After finishing his Ph.D. a the University of 
 Cologne in 2008\, he spent one year at the University of California Los An
 geles for his postdoc. Subsequently\, he worked for two years in finance a
 nd consulting until he returned to UCLA\, now in the role of an associate 
 researcher. There\, he shaped many scientific projects in the UCLA Galacti
 c Center Group of Prof. Andrea Ghez (Nobel Laureate of 2020). In 2014\, he
  returned to Germany where he started to work for DHL. He currently is the
  Vice President for Pricing of DHL.\n\nAfter the talk there will be an opp
