DESCRIPTION:RATIONALE\nThe BONN neutron star workshops aim to bring togeth
 er observers and theoreticians to exchange and discuss new ideas related t
 o neutron star research in a one-day workshop.\n\n \n\nSTRUCTURE OF THE M
 EETING\nIn the style of previous meetings\, the workshop will start at 9:0
 0 with a 'news' session summarising highlights from pulsar\, FRB and SNe r
 esearch. There will be additional topical sessions related to the local en
 vironments of neutron stars. Each talk will last 12 minutes (+ 3 minutes f
 or the Q&A session).  At the end of the day there will be a wrap-up sessi
 on\, in which the day's topics will be discussed. Lunches and coffee break
 s are sponsored by the MPIfR. The conference dinner (optional\, at ~18:30)
  is at your own expense.\n \n\nSPECIAL TOPIC \n\nNeutron stars and their
  local environments\n\n\n	Electron capture supernovae (SNe) and their poss
 ible outcomes\;\n	The progenitors of ultra-light/ultra-massive neutron sta
 rs (NS)\;\n	Advances in SN simulations and predictions (e.g. masses\, kic
 ks\, spins\, alignments etc.).\n	NS in binary systems (e.g. x-ray binaries
 \, black hole (BH) +NS systems\, spider systems\, double NS systems\, ...)
  and their formation scenarios\;\n	Pulsar winds and magnetospheres\;\n	Neu
 tron stars in globular clusters\;\n	Fast radio burst (FRB) localizations a
 nd constraints on their progenitors (e.g. SNe\, magnetars\, pulsars)\;\n	P
 ropagation effects in FRB and pulsar signals (e.g. dispersion measure\, ro
 tation measure\, scattering\, scintillation\, ...)\;\n	Neutron stars and F

 \nTRANSPORT TO MPIFR/AIfA - BONN\nFrom Bonn/Cologne Airport\n\n\n	Take air
 port bus to Bonn Central Station (Hbf). Buses leave every ~30min\, cost 8.

 gh-speed trains) may be purchased. This ticket has a validity of one month
 \, and may be bought/used between June 1st and August 31st. For all the de
