BRAND Kick-Off Meeting

Develop the detailed project plan for the BRAND receiver, and first meeting of the team.

• Venue: the meeting will take place at the "Escuela Politecnica" of

• Accommodation: attendants can be lodged at the Alcala city center. (see link above)
  • Hotel El Bedel; Plaza de San Diego, 8, 28801 Alcalá de Henares,  Madrid, Spanien +34 918 88 67 26, http://www.hotelelbedel.com/en/ This is at the historic city center, and there is a direct bus to the meeting facilities. Now in internet cost is 80€/night (incl breakfast). But people can arrange their own lodging where desired.

• Our hosts offer the participants, if interested, a guided visit to Yebes Observatory on monday January 16 afternoon. People (>3) should tell us in advance, in case their planes arrive early. We should leave Alcala no later than 15:30h otherwise it will get very dark.

•  To get to the meeting facilities (Politecnico) from the hotel by local bus numer 2 (from Plaza Cervantes); nevertheless we will go together with the participants the day of the meetings. Cost of the bus is 1.30€/trip. http://www.alcalanow.com/urban-buses/urban-buses-line2/
