Meeting

The EVN-TOG & GTG Meeting will be hosted by the Max-Planck-Institute for Radio Astronomy in Bonn. It is planned to have the TOG meeting on May 5th, 2020 and the GTG meeting on May 6th, 2020. If there is enough interest we would like to extend the meeting by one day to include a small workshop about the DBBC3 on Thursday May 7th, 2020.

Accommodation

We have not made any block reservations, but there are a couple of hotels along the bus lines 610 and 611 that are also in walking distance and can be booked directly or via multiple platforms.

Travel

The closest airport is Bonn/Cologne, but also Frankfurt and Düsseldorf are just 1 hour by train.

From Bonn/Cologne Airport

• Take the airport bus SB60 to Bonn central station (buses leave every ~30min, takes 30min to Bonn, 8,20 EUR) 
• take a taxi (~50-70 EUR)

From Bonn central station (3 km): (busses leave every 10 min.)

• Bus 610 (direction: Duisdorf Bahnhof) get off at "Immenburg Park"
• Bus 611 (direction: Lessenich Sportplatz) get off at "Immenburg Park"
• Taxi (~10-15 EUR)

From other directions in Bonn there is the bus 632 that stops at "Immenburg Park as well and also close to the instute is the stop "Auf dem Hügel" (608, 609) and buses that stop at "Frongasse" (606, 607, 631). Timetables can be found here.
