DESCRIPTION:The programme is live\, see tab to the left\n\nWe are pleased 
 to announce the 6th annual Scintillometry Workshop\, taking place at the M
 ax Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy in Bonn\, Germany\, from 4 to 8 No
 vember 2019.\n\nThe word "scintillometry"\, a portmanteau of the words "sc
 intillation" and "astrometry"\, refers to the use of the interference patt
 ern caused by multipath propagation through the ISM as a high-resolution p
 robe of pulsars (and potentially FRBs). Conversely\, scintillation is a po
 werful probe of the interstellar medium\, revealing small scale structure 
 and magnetization of the free electrons which cause scattering.\n\nIn this
  workshop\, we will discuss the many recent developments in the field\, in
 cluding mapping scattering screens using VLBI\, using scintillation to spa
 tially resolve pulsar emission and solve pulsar orbits\, studies of plasma
  lensing in plasma-dense environments\, physical models of scintillation\,
  and ways to remove scintillation/scattering from a pulsar's intrinsic emi
 ssion.\n\nEach day will be a mixture of scientific talks\, structured disc
 ussions\, and open time for discussion and collaboration. There will be a 
 conference dinner on Wednesday evening.  The conference proper ends on Th
 ursday\, and Friday will be a day trip to the Effelsberg telescope to any
